Overview

With Simon, I speak at developer conferences and meetups to advocate for design in tech teams. We deliver talks, hands-on workshops, and multi-day trainings that make UX/UI tangible for engineers — from dark mode implementation to getting started with Figma.

Problem

Many developer audiences still treat design as a late-stage polish step. Teams ship inconsistent interfaces, struggle with theming (especially dark mode), or collaborate poorly between design and engineering because tools and vocabulary do not align.

My role

  • Co-design and deliver conference talks and workshops as half of the Antoine & Simon duo
  • DevRel-style advocacy: demystify design for developers and explain technical constraints to designers
  • Prepare slide decks, live demos, and interactive exercises (Figma, design tokens, theming)
  • Engage with the community at events — Q&A, booth animations, and sponsor representation when needed

Approach

Each session starts from a pain point developers recognize. Talks like Science, Design, Code: everything you need to know about dark mode blend color science, accessibility, and practical implementation patterns. Workshops such as Wait, you're not using Figma?! get attendees building in the tool within a few hours. Longer trainings (Figma for everyone) go deeper over two days. We refine content after every event based on audience feedback.

Outcome

Since 2023, we have presented at Devoxx France, Devfest Nantes, MiXiT, Paris Web, Riviera Dev, and other events — reaching hundreds of developers. Our sessions page centralizes talks, replays, and photos from each edition.
